Quick answers

Unwanted reputations in plain language.

Understand fallible claims, saved versions, current inputs and sharing review.

What does Unwanted Reputation Generator do?

Give a party or character one reputation they never meant to acquire, keeping the real incident separate from the public claim and turning expectations, opportunities and friction into useful campaign material. Explain why an established community believes the fallible claim, who currently holds it and how the subject might reinforce, redirect or correct it.

What do I prepare?

Enter one completed incident, the subject, established facts and community. Add the intended legacy if useful, then choose from six reputation families, strength, accuracy and reach. Tone is recorded for reference. Quick retains entered Deep details.

What does Deep preparation add?

Add community values, visible evidence, a contradiction and correction difficulty. Prior expectations are recorded for reference, and recognition signs are suggested in the result. Review the proposed social effects against the real incident before play.

How do rerolls and account versions work?

Reroll four sections, lock them against rerolls or edit with undo. A new full generation replaces locked sections too. Review changed-input passages against the retained incident. Save with a title, tags and notes; search, rename, duplicate, delete or reopen up to 12 prior saved versions. Reopening restores result and locks but does not refill the form, so check inputs before rerolling. Download if the library is unavailable; there is no file import.

What can I share, and what stays undecided?

Copy, download or print the full result or player view. Player view omits the source-incident record and hidden DM context, but includes claim basis, contradiction, social effects, management suggestions and intended legacy. Review before sharing and again after manual edits. This generator changes no Player Reputation Tracker standings, reconstructs no rumour chain, creates no nickname, stages no callback, simulates no crowd and starts no combat. It sends nothing to Combat Pro.
